Chief Executive Officer, Berkshire Group

Charles Leitner is responsible for leading all aspects of Berkshire Group’s operations. He is a member of Berkshire’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Operating Committee and serves on the Investment Committee. He previously served as Chairman and President of the former REIT, Berkshire Income Realty, Inc. 

 

Prior to Berkshire Group, Mr. Leitner served as Chairman and CEO of the ULI Greenprint Center for Building Performance and as a member of the Advisory Board for SVP Global,

a hedge fund manager specializing in distressed debt investments. Mr. Leitner also spent 24 years at RREEF, a global real estate investment management business and a division of Deutsche Asset Management, where he helped build the firm into one of the leading real estate and alternative asset investment advisors with $80 billion in assets under management.
